She was predeceased by: her parents, John Benjamin Nix and Nora Belle Bowman Nix; her husband Charles Scott Brown Jr.; the father of her children Donald Edward Willbanks; and her siblings, Sarah Nix Hockman, Elfreida Nix Flowers, John Berlin Nix, Mary Nix Scroggs, Charles Haygood Nix and Joseph Herbert Nix.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Ann Willbanks Green of Clayton, GA and Marjorie Lynn Willbanks of Decatur, GA; and her great grandchild Brock.
