With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearlene Dixon Maddox of Decatur, Georgia, who passed away on October 25, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Pearlene Dixon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pearlene Dixon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her son Vincent Maddox; her grandson Yohan Williams; her great grandchildren, Kierra Owens and Kali Owens; and her brothers, Herman Dixon (Dixon) and Nazeeh Rasheed. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary (1876 2nd Ave, Decatur, GA 30032). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
