It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary M. Brooks (Decatur, Georgia), who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Hilda Brooks Delaney, Danny Brooks, Debbie Brooks Dixon (Daniel), Kenneth Brooks, Sandra Brooks Boxley (Kevin) and Belinda Brooks Greene. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other loving family and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Donald Trimble Mortuary (1876 2nd Ave, Decatur, GA 30032). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church (2340 Clifton Springs Rd, Decatur, GA 30034). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
