She was predeceased by: her parent James Rush Phillips, Sr.; her husband Leighton Burroughs Deming, Sr.; and her son Leighton Burroughs Deming, Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Flora Adams Phillips; her children, Michael D. Deming (Susan) and Priscilla D. Darby (Richard); her daughters-in-law, Annette C. Deming and Carolyn R. Deming; her grandsons, Joseph L. Deming (Amanda), Kevin R. Deming (Rebecca) and Michael D. Deming, Jr.; her wife Erica; her granddaughter Kathryn D. Croft (Riley); and her great grandchildren, David, Micah, Jordyn, Holly, Maggie, Raegan and Jude. She is also survived by wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Martha Ellen Deming to the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund.
