Linda Rutland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025, at the age of 85, Linda Rutland (Decatur, Georgia), born in Florence, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Linda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Linda's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her husband Guy Rutland III; and her children, Linda Barry, Guy Rutland IV and David Rutland.
A reception will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Decatur First Baptist Church (300 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA 30030).
