It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Wayne Miller of Decatur, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Miller and Ora Castella Miller Oliver; and his siblings, Dallas W. Miller, Fred Miller and Jeryls Valeria Grice.
He is survived by: his spouse Gradie Pearl Miller; his children, Dr. Terrance Lavelle Miller (Cassandra) of Lilburn, GA, Tavares Lamont Miller of Danville, VA and Dr. Tameka L. Miller of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Caitlin Miller, Carly Miller, Chase Miller, Rachel Miller, Raine Miller, Raeya Miller and Bella Gunter; his siblings, Robert Miller of Upper Marlboro, MD and Linda C. Miller of Largo, MD; and his aunts, Mittie Bennett of Danville, VA and Exella Bennett of Austin, TX. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home (707 Wilson St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church (1440 Dry Fork Rd, Dry Fork, VA 24549).
