He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. O'Connor and Rita M. O'Connor; his brother William O'Connor; and his brother-in-law Joseph O'Doherty. He is survived by: his children, Jean O'Connor (Joseph Durbin) of Decatur and Christopher O'Connor (Lisa) of Rapid City; his grandchildren, Laura Dubin, Catherine Durbin of Decatur and Logan Brueckner of Portland; his sisters, Maureen O'Doherty of Bellerose and Rita O'Connor (Theodore Schell) of Manhattan; and his sister-in-law Ava O'Connor of New York.
