We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2021, at the age of 90, John Louis Evans of Decatur, Georgia, born in Statesville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Louis Evans to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Louis and Helen Brown Evans; his sons, Joe (Jana Evans), Jim (Leanne Evans), Tom (Cheryl Evans) and Bob Evans (Carmen Serna); his grandchildren, Joe, David Evans (Kathleen), Katherine Evans Hunt (Eric), John Kenyon Evans (Crystal), James Langston Evans (April), Tom and John William McKaime Evans; his great grandchildren, Sarah, Katie (Will Thomas), Caroline, Liz of Eileen, EN, JJ, William, Isabelle, Aaron, Charlie, Emma and Levi; his sister Elizabeth Evans of Davidson, NC; his close friend Judy Taylor; and also Joseph L. Bigham of Chester, SC. He was also cherished by Mom and Dad had four sons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Bonclarken Conference Center in Flat Rock NC at bonclarken.org.
