He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leroy Norman and Mary Elizabeth Proctor; and his brother David Norman. He is survived by: his wife Diana Alcock; his daughters, Nancy Burnett and Linda James; his grandchildren, Allen Burnett, Elaine Burnett, Eric James and Jadyn James; and his brothers, John Norman, Joe Norman and Paul Norman.
In lieu of flowers, Jim requested that donations be made to the Decatur Presbyterian Church music program.
