It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleftheria Moraitakis of Decatur, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George N. Moraitakis; her parents, Anna Carberis and Angelo Carberis; her sister Agalia Moraitakis; her brothers-in-law, Costa Moraitakis and Edward Stewart; and her daughter-in-law Deidre C. Cain.

She is survived by: her children, Alexis Moraitakis, John G. Moraitakis (Anna) and Mark G. Moraitakis (Dimitra); her grandchildren, George, Elli, Aubrey, Renna and Nicolette; and her aunt Joann C. Stewart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and God children.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral Benevolence Fund or to Hospice Atlanta.
