It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dena Elizabeth Flores (Decatur, Georgia), born in New York, New York, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Willie Louis Williams and Gail Elizabeth Johnson-Williams; and her siblings, Dorothy Lee Williams, Willie Leon Williams, Marie Louise Williams and Cassandra Parks.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Williams-Hope, Rozetta Mitchell, Leon Williams, Carmen Flores-Boddie, Antonio Flores, Aldeena Flores and Johnathan Flores; her grandchildren, Faith Hope, Charles Mitchell, Jada Mitchell, Le'Asia Williams, Sonya Williams, Leah Williams, India Williams, Leon Williams Jr., Eliyah Boddie, Delisa Ma'shae Boddie, Hasan Boddie and Nanya Nimtar Boddie-El; her great grandchildren, Noa, Charlie, Laila, Lai'ana, Talea, Isaliyah, Joshua, Nayeli and Aaliyah; her sister Gloria Elliot; her husband Albert Flores; and also Charles.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rainbow Park Baptist Church (2941 Columbia Dr, Decatur, GA 30034). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greenforest Community Baptist Church (3250 Rainbow Dr, Decatur, GA 30034).
