In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Claude leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Claude may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lynn Overton Sr. and Helon Ganous Overton; and his sister Jina. He is survived by: his wife June M. Overton; his daughters, Lisa O. Bryan (Walter E. Bryan) of Lawrenceville and Allison O. Ritter (Larry R. Ritter) of Dacula; and his grandchildren, Kelly E. Thigpen (Gordon Thigpen) of Toccoa and Matthew E. Bryan of Lawrenceville.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Decatur Cemetery (229 Bell St, Decatur, GA 30030).
