He is survived by: his children, Sherry McCorkle (Travis) and Billy Gay (Gitti); and his grandchildren, Brett Gay, Brooke Gay, Katie Howell, Britney Murphy, Ashlie Lanier, Christopher Howell and Brandon Gay. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
