She is survived by: her children, Melissa Arrington (Jim), Kimberly Starks (Alex) of Greenwood, S. C., N. C. and Stanley Chaney; her brothers, James Howell (Nicki) of Thomson and Carl Howell of Thomson; and her close friend Robert Beckum. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
