With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Whitaker of Dearing, Georgia, who passed away on December 23, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Grady Gay; her son Travis Gay; and her grandchildren, Andrew Daughtry, Hannah Grace Rockefeller and Levy Peloquin.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Whitaker; her daughters, Terrie Reeves (Richard) and Teresa Rockefeller (Jerry); her siblings, Leonard Skinner (Gina) and Cheryl James (Roger); her grandchildren, Caleb, Abbie Rockefeller, Tiffany Gregg, Tammy, Wendy, Dylan, Elizabeth Gay, Rhonda Peloquin, Anthony Daughtry, Cassandra Mumford, Christopher Stephens, Bobby Daughtry, Michele Buck and Christina Reeves; her great grandchildren, Jaycee, Clayton Peloquin, Joseph Ashley, Amber McGahee, Trey Jackson, Cassandra, Cathleen, Chenoa Mumford, Owen, Waylen Daughtry, Scarlett Culpepper, Margaret, Charlie Gregg and Brandon Mumford; her son Larry Oglesby; and her pets, Lil Man, Skeeter and Banjo.
