She was predeceased by: her husband Lindy D. McTier; and her sister Alice Wakeman. She is survived by: her children, David McTier of San Antonio, Texas, Linda Carrier (Don Mosely) of Johns Creek, Steven McTier (Sandy) of Byron and Michael McTier (Lynne) of Dearing; and her brother Allan Thorson (Sharon). She is also survived by six grandchildren.
