He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Reeves and Edith Dixon Reeves of Dearing; his brother Joseph Reeves; and his niece Robyn. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Faye Reeves. He is also survived by grand niece and nephew and several cousins.

“We were so sorry to hear of Dixon’s passing. He had called us the week before Christmas and we had planned to visit soon. One of Dixon’s friends that we told about Dixon did go to see him just before Christmas. He told me he wanted a sweatshirt- green one. I told our friend, Mr Orin Johnston. Orin and his wife Essie did see him and took him a sweatshirt then. We were not aware of his passing and wish we had known. Curtis and Judy Reeves Dearing, Ga”
