He is survived by: his daughters, Elva Hutchison and Margaret Kaage (Thomas); his grandchildren, Denise Renee Watkins, Robert Michael Brekke, Tamara Lynn Brekke, Tiffani Marie Kaage, Brenton Thomas Kaage and Elysse Jane Watkins; and his sisters, Sylbia Sanchez and Gayla Guerrero. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
