He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis P. Gunn and Imogene Brassell Gunn; and his wife Martha Gunn. He is survived by: his children, Trucking, Southeastern Timber Haulers, James Lewis "Jamie" Gunn (Kristin) of Harlem, Jason Robert Gunn (Elizabeth) of Dearing, Dakota Evans of Grovetown and Jessica Marie Lee (Trey) of Grovetown; his siblings, Carl Gunn, Tim Gunn of Dearing, Donna Spann of Dearing, Sandra Linker of Thomson and Roxanne Bentley of Evans; and his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Gunn, Jackson Gunn and Maddie J. Gunn.
