Alex Phillips Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex Phillips of Dearing, Georgia, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Phillips and Susie Bell Anderson Phillips; and his son Dale Perry. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Phillips; his children, Alex Lee Phillips, Jr. (Melissa) of Dearing, Tony Phillips of Dearing, David Perry of Augusta and Lisa Stewart (Billy) of Augusta; his sisters, Helen Welch of Thomson and Evelyn Johnson of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Chevy Phillips (Kathryn), Kayla P. Sparks (Mason), Ritley Phillips, Stormey Phillips, LaTosha Stewart and Dustin Phillips. He is also survived by great grandchildren.

The family will observe social distancing and masks are encouraged.
