He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Smith and Iris Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lyn Smith; his daughter Kim; his son-in-law Jeff Fleming; his grandson Cody Fleming; his siblings, Beverly Smith of Hendersonville, NC and Russell Smith; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Montgomery of Watkinsville, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534).
