He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Hamby (Jennifer) of Dawsonville, Tim Hamby (Tara) of Dawsonville, Madeline Small of Dawsonville and McKenzie Hamby of Savannah; his sister Etta Cobb of Dawsonville; his grandchildren, Josiah, Abigail, Karley and Karson; and his close friends, Andy Wallace, Travis Pelfrey, Cory Gee, Mark Crane, Chris Wiley, Ryon Johnson and Steven McBrayer.
