She was predeceased by: her father Vernon Hudgins; and her siblings, Renee Rumph and Sam Hudgins. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Hudgins; her husband Russell Buice; her children, Jason Buice, Zachary Buice and Jennifer Nelson; her son-in-law Anthony Nelson; her brother Andy Hudgins; her grandchildren, Micha Buice, Chloe Buice, Ava Buice, Daniel Nelson, Sarah Nelson and Anna Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Lakeland Stowers, Colton Nelson and Carter Nelson.
In lieu of flowers Shelia has requested to have donations made to the City of Hope to help other cancer patients.
