She was predeceased by: her parents, Ford Ervin and Nancy Pearl Phillips; her husband Billy Hughes; and her siblings, Ann Anderson and Jim Phillips.
She is survived by: her significant other Gene Anderson; her partner's daughter Gena Woodman; her sons, Billy (Kaye Hughes) of Dawsonville, Rocky (Cheryl Hughes) of Dawsonville and David Hughes of Athens; her grandchildren, Judd, Gloria Hughes, Rocksy and Rick Smith; her great grandchildren, Andrew of Dawsonville, Alex of Dawsonville, Pearl Hughes of Dawsonville, Rori of Dawsonville and Ronan Smith of Dawsonville; and also Tommie B. Smith.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534).
