It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Tillman Padgett of Dawsonville, Georgia, born in Dawson, Georgia, who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Padgett; his children, Lawana Cunningham (Kevin) of Dawsonville, GA, Marty Ray Padgett (Renee) of Dawsonville, GA and Donna Foulks (Rodney) of Dawsonville, GA; his siblings, Rev. Max Padgett (Daisey Mae) of Dawsonville, GA, Frances Perithe of Cartersville, GA and Shirley Wilson of Dawsonville, GA; his grandchildren, Samantha of Tabitha, J. J., Jacobi, Noah, Levi and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kyle, Lily, Hayden, Elizabeth, Alivia, Jaxon, Amelia, Piper, Jonah and Alayna.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray Padgett's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
