He was predeceased by: his parents, Farris Ledbetter and Annie Mae Ledbetter; and his siblings, Wynell Chumley, Aline Stephens, Hubert "Pete" Ledbetter, G. W. Ledbetter and James Ledbetter.
He is survived by: his wife Delores K. Ledbetter; his children, Marc, Michelle Ledbetter, Gina and Terry Beckwith; his grandchildren, Carson Beckwith, Griffin Beckwith, Tatum Beckwith, Reese Ledbetter and Mia Ledbetter; his sister Eulalie; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Philyaw and Yonne Ledbetter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
