He was predeceased by: his siblings, Deane Heath and C. E. "Bud" Tennant. He is survived by: his wife Jane Tennant of Dawsonville; his son Bill; his daughter-in-law Karen Tennant of Colleyville, TX; his daughter C. J.; his son-in-law David Szymanski of Gulfport, MS; and his stepsons, John Thomas (Nicky) of Cleveland, GA and Richard Thomas (Heather) of Blacksburg, SC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; other relatives.
