He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rice and Velma Rice; and his siblings, William, Robert, Johnny, Frank, Tommy, Oleen, Aleen and Ruby Bolton Watts.
He is survived by: his wife Vondell Rice; his son Clifton Rice (Renee); his grandchildren, Dustin Rice, CJ Rice and Celia Adams (Devon); his great grandchildren, Kaylen, Brelyn, Peyton, Kasen and Charley; and his siblings, Benny Joe Rice, Billy Rice (Teresa), Gracie Lou Walls and Annie Sue Chester (Jimmy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help offset final expenses.
