She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Counties (Edith Reeves) and Dawson Counties; her husband Jerry H. Samples; her granddaughter Cheyanne Seabolt; and her siblings, Marie Beck, Margaret Payne, David Reeves and Ernest Reeves.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey Evans of Dawsonville and Steve Samples of Dawsonville; her grandson Will Linkenhoker of Pickens, SC; her great grandchildren, Markus Crowder, Jimi Mann and Addalynn Linkenhoker; and her sisters, Meretta (Dean Thompson), Glenda (David Collins) and Kathy (Johnny Burt). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534).
