As Betty departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Betty. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Davis and Nora Davis. She is survived by: her children, James (Araceli Roach), Tony Roach, Robin (Mark Fitzpatrick), Pamela Barfield and John C., Jr. (Jessica Duncan); and her sisters, JoAnn Studdard, Carol Rickles and Jackie Bain. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bearden Funeral Home (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Concord Baptist Church (6905 Concord Rd, Cumming, GA 30028).
