She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Heard and Thelma Heard; her daughters, Tonya Leigh Kitchens and Cheryl Williams Frady; and her sister Betty Drum.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas R. Bang of Dawsonville; and her daughter Melanie (Shawn Young). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
