She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Lee Asberry, Sr. and Elma Asberry; her son Wesley J. Williams, Jr.; her siblings, Vandodlyn Patricia Calloway, Cynthia Asberry Marshall, Alfred Asberry, Stanley Asberry and Ernest Asberry; her niece Shayartta Asberry; and her close friend Jeanette Bridges.
She is survived by: her children, Kenyarta Cody (Anthony) of Thomasville, GA and Corey Williams (Vester) of Albany, GA; her siblings, Dianne Williams of Dawson, GA, Paulette of Dawson, GA, Claudette Asberry of Dawson, GA, Kevin Asberry (Carol) of Albany, GA and Charlie Lee Asberry, Jr.; her aunt Pearline Anderson of Dawson, GA; and her sisters-in-law, Linda S. Asberry of Dawson, GA and Jessie Pearl Asberry of Dawson, GA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sardis Cemetery (368 6th Ave NW, Dawson, GA 39842).
