He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Claudia Brown Smith. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Adkins of Unadilla, Joseph S. Smith of Dawson and Jimmy Lee Smith of Gainesville, FL. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
