He was predeceased by: his parent Glenn Horace Smith. He is survived by: his mother Genolyne Dean Smith of Panama City, FL.; his wife Glenda Askew Smith of Dawson; his son Todd Smith of Dothan; his siblings, Carol Hicks (Bobby) of Chiefland, FL and Terry Smith (Dianne) of Pensacola; his grandson Dylan Smith of Leesburg; and his pet Captain Jack.
