He is survived by: his siblings, Minnie Jones (Lawrence) of Dawson, GA, Betty Grier (Oscar) of Albany, GA, Lucille Kendrick of Jacksonville, FL, Katie Bell of Dawson, GA, Bernice Lewis of Dawson, GA, T. J. Lewis (Murleece) of Atlanta, GA, Mujahid Salahud-Din (Shirley) of Goldboro, NC, Tommy Lewis of Atlanta, GA, Horace Lewis (Cynthia) of Bronwood, GA, Curtis Lewis of Buffalo, NY and Darrin Lewis of Waynesboro, GA; his uncle Nathaniel Hodge; his aunts, Ernestine Burkes, Lois Hodge and Gloria Anderson; his nieces and nephews, Tebra Bates and Travis Bates; and his close friend James "Bear" Jones (Shirley). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
