He was predeceased by: his parents, Estella Henderson Murphy and Clarence Murphy, Sr.; and his son Travis "Trap" Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Leila Murphy; his sons, Alphonso Murphy (Samona), Oliver Murphy, Jr. of Albany, GA and Tevin Murphy of Dawson, GA; and his siblings, Bertha Williams (George) of Albany, GA, Lamar Murphy, Sr. (Sherry) of Edison, GA and Charlie Murphy (Lille Ruth) of Dawson, GA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
