It is with great sadness that we announce the death of McTyier Salter (Dawson, Georgia), who passed away on November 12, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John Wesley Salter and Susie Clay McTyier Salter; his siblings, John William Salter and Virginia S. Jennings; and his son Donald Hill Salter.
He is survived by: his children, McTyier Salter, Jr. (Brenda) of Savannah, GA and Susan Salter Wiggins (Stuart) of Royston, GA; his daughter-in-law Cindy Salter of Lee County; and his grandchildren, Wesley Hill Salter of Albuquerque, Marydon Salter Owings of Laurens, SC, Stephanie Ann Talley of Savannah, Taylor Jeffrey Salter of Lawrenceville, GA, Heather Harper of Leesburg, Chad Kelly of Albany and Hanna Gardner of Leesburg. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
