She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar P. Barfield and Allie Powell Barfield; her husbands, Charlie M. Moncus and Paul D. Briscoe; her son Richard S. Moncus, Sr.; and her brother Wallace A. Barfield.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Moncus Christie (Timmy) of Bronwood; her sister-in-law Mary Beard Barfield of Rome; her grandsons, Richard S. Moncus, Jr. of Clayton and Tim Christie, Jr. of Graves; and her great grandchildren, Shawn Moncus and Kaleigh G. Moncus. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Chickasawhatchee Baptist Church of Dawson.
