She is survived by: her parents, Richard Alston and Annie B. Alston; her godmother Wavine Thomas of Bronwood, GA; her husband Cornelius Mitchell of Dawson, GA; her children, Martavious Goshay of Dawson, GA, Cornesia Davis (Waltdrecous), Cormia Mitchell and Cortia Mitchell; her sisters, Dianne Piper (Walter) of Lithonia, GA and Sheila Brown; her nephews, NiQuan Alston and Ellis Brown; her grandchildren, Somer Goshay and Logan Goshay; and her close friends, Charlene Owens, Terri Brown-Jenkins, Nita Bogan, Brittney Young, Sandra Bowens, Wanda Taylor, Eutha Spencer, Dianne Pratt, Sheila Reed, Ola Jones and Betty Bee. She is also survived by wife who cherished her husband, children, and grandchildren.
