She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Kirksey and Ethel Joiner Kirksey; her husband Bill Lail; her children, Larry Joe Lail, Billy Lail, Ward Lail and Betty Teems; her granddaughter Candice Pitts; and her great grandchild Nichole Gause.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Lail of Albany, Janice Landin of Yatesville, GA, Donna Bailey (Gary) and Paula Harrison (Jerry); and her sisters, Martha High of Americus and Allene James of Butler. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
