He is survived by: his wife Annie Jean; his children, Sarafina Green, Dennis Green, Jr. and Dentavious Green, Sr.; his grandchildren, Sa'riyah Green, Zayvion Green, Ricardo Green and Jacarius Green; his siblings, Earl Whaley, Josephine Soilberry, Mary Goodman, Pearline Quiller, Dr. Amanda Green and Darlene Cleveland; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Seay, Christaine Perry, Elaine Reed and Annie Mae Jones; his cousins, Lisa Rickett (Rick) and Theo Jacobs; and his godchildren, Lakeshia Womack, Gloria Hamilton, Jada Parks and Alfred Robin.
