He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Daniel and Edna Daniel; and his sister Patsy Speir. He is survived by: his nephew Mike Speir (Betty); his great-niece Kelli Speir; his cousins, Samye Waldal (Mikey), Olivia and Sawyer; and also, Lauren Waldal, Kristin Waldal, Madison Brown and Georgiann Wishard.
