We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 86, Carolene D. Rogers in Dawson, Georgia, born in Randolph, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Carolene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Carolene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae Lewis and Joe Shepard; and her husband George Rogers. She is survived by: her siblings, Ruby Dean Mitchell, Annie Ware, Sr. (Clarence), Annie Mitchell, Ilean Lewis and Willie Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church (1960 Sasser Herod Rd, Dawson, GA 39842).
