He was predeceased by: his parents, Flander Ray Settle and Anna Jane Murphy Settle. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Amerson Settle of Davisboro; his children, Brittany VanZile Wood (Brian) of Clayton, NC. and Bradley Wayne Settle of Davisboro; his grandchildren, Abigale Wood and Emily Wood; and his siblings, Donnie Meredith (Carole) of Kentucky, Robert Settle (Doris) of Kentucky, Martha LeRoy (Gary) of Kentucky and John Michael Watt (Tonya) of Kentucky.
