He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Lindsey Person and Frieda Elizabeth Leonard Pierson. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Lord Pierson; and his sisters, Sylvia Cobb Glover (Harry) of Milledgeville and Cynthia Layton (Benjamin) of Riddleville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
