She was predeceased by: her spouse Rev. Willie Lee Tukes Sr.; her parents, Ulysses Daniels and Annie Lou Daniels (Williams); her daughter Carrie B. Adams; her grandson Christopher Daniels; and her sisters, Mattie Florence Hicks, Dorothy Daniels and Sallie Lue Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Johnson, Lois Wells (Marvin), Willie Tukes (Jacqueline), Benny Tukes and Roger Tukes (Angela); her sisters, Cora Hicks and Everline Daniels; her daughters-in-law, Mary Alice Tukes and Annie Tukes; and her friend Janie Jackson. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
