She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth R. McNeely Sr. and Willie Jerigan McNeely; her former husband Cecil Irvin Hodges; her son-in-law John M. Palmer Jr.; and her siblings, Kenneth McNeely Jr., Earl McNeely, Brock McNeely and Lois Glover.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel M. Woodard; her daughter Wanda H. Palmer of Davisboro; her stepsons, Michael Woodard (Annabell) and John Woodard (Mary Anne); her grandsons, John M. Palmer III, Michael Brent Palmer (Anna) and Wesley Cecil Palmer; her great grandchildren, Trever Palmer, Shasha Palmer, Abbey Daniel, Dalton Palmer and Braylynn Palmer; and her sister Lynn M. Shurling of Sandersville.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p. m. until 6:00 p. m. at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville using social distancing practices.
