Rosa Mae Coody Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosa Mae Coody of Danville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Rosa Mae had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Rosa Mae may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Fowler and Ethel Fowler; and her husband Douglas J. Coody. She is survived by: her children, Kaye Mullis (Gary) of Byron, Wanda Coody of Twiggs County and Tony Coody (Kathy) of Danville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church (3220 Cool Springs Rd, Danville, GA 31017).
