He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis A. Smith and Beatrice Rozier Smith. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Powell Smith; his children, Louise Smith Chapman, Randy Hall and Chris Hall; and his grandchildren, Joey Chapman and Liz Hall.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Reece Funeral Home Inc. (15548 US-80, Jeffersonville, GA 31044). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (3220 Cool Springs Rd, Danville, GA 31017).
