She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley Carter and Alice Fowler Carter; her husband Robert Earl Joiner; her son Johnny L. Brewer, Sr.; and her brother Willis Carter.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra McDaniel (James); and her grandchildren, James "Jamie" McDaniel (Amanda), Mandy Rochelle (Stanley), Brandy MaGahee and Johnny Brewer, Jr.. She is also survived by Eight Great Grandchildren, Two Great Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
